As soon as you arrive at Kigali International Airport, you will meet our licensed Safari guide. He will take you through a detailed itinerary for your trip before you drive to Musanze, the gateway to Volcanoes National Park, and check into your accommodation. The trip will take approximately two and half hours on the road, being acquainted with the stunning surroundings, and breathtaking sceneries, and acclimatizing to the altitude. In the evening, you will visit Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund by Ellen Degeneres, where you will get a heartwarming tour of the Campus, and learn about mountain Gorilla conservation efforts prior to your big day-Mountain Gorilla trekking day.

Rise early, fuelled with excitement for the day ahead, and enjoy a hearty breakfast. At 6:30 a.m.; Your driver guide will drive you to the park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing and join your assigned gorilla trekking group. This is a golden moment to learn about the gorilla family you will visit, receive important guidelines, and network with your fellow trekkers. The group will be accompanied by knowledgeable guides and trackers who will lead you through the forest in search of the gorilla family assigned to your group.
